The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has announced the Young Reporters Programme for the Youth Olympic Games (YOG) Dakar 2026. Sixteen aspiring sports journalists will receive training from Olympic media professionals. Launched in 2010, the program has trained 125 participants, with many alumni working at the Olympic Games and major media outlets. The Dakar 2026 edition will emphasize social media integration and offer training in various media formats. Participants' work will be published on official platforms, and the top reporter will receive the Steve Parry Award.
