World Lacrosse has officially launched its Olympic qualification process for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The three-stage system, approved by the International Olympic Committee, will see twelve national teams (six men's and six women's) compete in Los Angeles. The World Lacrosse Sixes Championships will be central to the qualification, with continental championships in 2026 leading up to the 2027 Sixes Championships. A final qualifying tournament in early 2028 will determine the last remaining spots.
