The IOC EB has reallocated medals and diplomas from the London 2012 and Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Tatyana TOMASHOVA (RUS) was disqualified from the London 2012 women’s 1,500m event due to an anti-doping rule violation, leading World Athletics to modify the results and reallocate medals. In Paris 2024, Domien MICHIELS of Team Belgium was disqualified from the Equestrian Team Final by the International Equestrian Federation (FEI), resulting in a reallocation of diplomas. The reallocation of medals is not automatic and happens on a case-by-case basis after all remedies have been exhausted.
