Australian hockey player Jane Claxton has been appointed as an ambassador for the IOC's 'Believe in Sport' campaign, joining nine other athletes to promote integrity and prevent competition manipulation. Claxton, a three-time Olympian, will participate in educational activities and workshops, extending the campaign's reach to the Milano Cortina 2026, Dakar 2026, Dolomiti Valtellina 2028, and Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. The program, launched in 2019, aims to raise awareness and empower athletes to make ethical choices. International Hockey Federation President Tayyab Ikram congratulated Claxton on her appointment.

IOC President Kirsty Coventry consulted with Honorary and Honour Members on the IOC's future direction. In Andorra, he emphasized inclusivity and met with NOC presidents. In Doha, he presented awards at the ITTF event and discussed sports policy with Qatar's leaders. IOC President Thomas Bach mourned the death of Pope Francis, a supporter of the Olympic Movement, and awarded Gary Hall Jr. replica Olympic medals to replace those lost in a fire.
