The new coach will lead the team in major international competitions, including the 2026 Asian Games. The application requires a minimum of five years of coaching experience and a level 2 sports coaching certificate or, for those with coaching experience between two and five years, at least two years of national team player experience and the level 2 certificate. The KVA is considering a '1+2 year' contract based on the performance at the 2026 Asian Games. The selection process involves document screening, performance evaluation, and board review, with the new coach to be finalized in January 2026.

Trinidad and Tobago hosted a beach volleyball development camp from August 27-30, 2025, at the Courland Beach Sport Arena.
