The International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has appointed Andrés Constantin as Governance Manager to lead a comprehensive constitutional reform process, aiming for completion by the centenary in 2026. Constantin, an expert in governance and human rights, will oversee a participatory process involving Continental Federations, Member Associations, and officials. The reform is based on transparency, inclusivity, independence, accountability, and future-readiness. The ITTF’s approach is notable for its independence and broad participation channels.

A New York court partially ruled in favor of the Professional Tennis Players' Association (PTPA) against the ATP in an antitrust case. The court found the ATP's conduct "potentially coercive," raising concerns about undue pressure on players to distance themselves from the PTPA's lawsuit. The ruling prohibits the ATP from retaliating against players involved in the case and requires preservation of communications, but does not ban all tour communications about the lawsuit. The PTPA, launched in 2020 by Novak Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil, aims to reshape power structures in professional tennis and strengthen athletes' rights.

The International Tennis Integrity Agency (ITIA) has sanctioned three Dominican Republic tennis officials (Luis Rodríguez, Antonio Sosa, and Wellingthon López) for breaching its anti-corruption program by inputting false data into match scoring equipment to facilitate betting between 2018 and 2021. Rodríguez received a lifetime ban and a $15,000 fine, Sosa a five-year suspension and a $3,000 fine, and López a four-year and six-month suspension and a $1,000 fine. The International Testing Agency (ITA) has also sanctioned Uzbek kickboxer Abbos Bozorboyev with a four-year ban for testing positive for meldonium at the 2024 Asian Kickboxing Championships, and Mexican MMA athlete Jaime Samuel Sierra Lara with a 24-month suspension for testing positive for bumetanide.

The Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), led by Novak Djokovic and Vasek Pospisil, has filed lawsuits against the ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA, accusing them of operating as a cartel and exploiting players. The PTPA seeks reforms to improve player working conditions, income, and rights, criticizing the low revenue share (17%) compared to other sports. The ATP, WTA, ITF, and ITIA have responded, defending their practices and expressing commitment to player welfare and the sport's integrity.

Shamil Tarpishchev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation (RTF), stated that approximately 20 Russian tennis players may switch nationalities due to the lack of tournaments, financial support, and the IOC's recommendations following the ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes in international events since February 2022. In 2024, Alexander Shevchenko and Elina Avanesyan already switched to Kazakhstan and Armenia, respectively. The International Tennis Federation (ITF) has suspended the membership of the Russian and Belarusian tennis federations and cancelled tournaments in those countries since March 2022.
