The ITA has sanctioned Canadian weightlifter Shania Sophia Bedward with a two-year ban, effective from 2024-09-19 to 2026-09-18, after she tested positive for modafinil metabolite at the 2024 Commonwealth Senior Weightlifting Championships. Her results from the start of the sanction have been disqualified.
