The International Testing Agency (ITA) reported anti-doping rule violations for wrestlers Ana Luiza Pereira (Brazil) and Abdelkrim Ouakali (Algeria), and weightlifter Dae Hee Kwon (South Korea). Pereira tested positive for 19-norandrosterone at the Ranking Series in Ulaanbaatar on May 30, 2024, while Ouakali tested positive for boldenone at the African Championships in Casablanca on May 3, 2025. Both are provisionally suspended. Kwon accepted a three-year ban for trimetazidine, with his ineligibility running from April 14, 2025, to April 13, 2028, disqualifying results from February 26, 2025.

Nenad Lalović, President of United World Wrestling and IOC member, has been elected as Vice-President of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF). The ASOIF Council also addressed the development of its new strategic plan and reviewed ASOIF activities with IOC President Kirsty Coventry. Discussions included the Olympic revenue distribution model, and the next ASOIF Council meeting is scheduled for October 27.

The 49th ASOIF General Assembly was held in Lausanne on June 11, 2025, chaired by President Ingemar de Vos. Four ASOIF Council positions were elected: Nenad Lalovic (United World Wrestling) was re-elected, Jean-Christophe Rolland (World Rowing) and Andreas Zagklis (International Basketball Federation) were newly elected, and Ximena Restrepo (World Athletics) was elected for a two-year term. Los Angeles 2028, Brisbane 2032, and Dakar 2026 OCOGs provided updates. ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg attended, emphasizing cooperation between IFs and ANOC.
