IOC President Kirsty Coventry consulted with Honorary and Honour Members on the IOC's future direction. She met with the Swiss National Council’s Foreign Affairs Committee, FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis, and FIH President Tayyab Ikram, discussing the impact of the IOC and IFs in Switzerland and preparations for LA28. Coventry welcomed Olympic swimming champion Katinka Hosszu and presented recognition to Emily Rogers and Jackie Chan. She also attended the Athletissima City Event and held meetings with various partners and IOC members. Honorary President Thomas Bach received the Grand Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit and an honorary doctorate from the Hungarian University of Sports Science.

IOC President Kirsty Coventry addressed the International Skating Union (ISU) Extraordinary Congress, praising the ISU's Vision 2030 and constitutional reforms, including the establishment of an Integrity Unit. She also welcomed officials from India, Canada, the International Testing Agency (ITA), and the Capital University for Physical Education and Sport (CUPES) at Olympic House, discussing various topics, including anti-doping preparations for Milano Cortina 2026. She also discussed various Olympic topics with IOC Members.

IOC President Thomas Bach, nearing the end of his term, engaged in numerous meetings and farewell events. He and President-elect Kirsty Coventry met with ANOC, Korean, and Chinese NOC leaders, and Mengniu and TCL representatives. Bach received an ANOC Honorary Award, the ICF Order of Merit, and the African Recognition Trophy. He addressed Olympians, expressing confidence in Coventry. The IOC also released its 2024 Annual Report, highlighting the success of the Olympic Games Paris 2024.

IOC President Thomas Bach visited Andorra for the Games of the Small States of Europe, Doha for the International Table Tennis Federation World Championships, and Munich for the UEFA Champions League final. In Andorra, he emphasized inclusivity and met with NOC presidents. In Doha, he presented awards at the ITTF event and discussed sports policy with Qatar's leaders. In Munich, he attended the Champions League final. Additionally, Airbnb launched Olympic and Paralympic experiences for Milano Cortina 2026, the Olympic Museum announced a Paris 2024 photography exhibition, and Pierre Ducrey was appointed as the IOC’s new Sports Director.

IOC President Thomas Bach welcomed German sports officials and athletes to Olympic House, met with FIG President Morinari Watanabe, AIMS President Stephan Fox, and others to discuss Olympic topics and partnerships. The IOC mourns the death of Honorary Member Olegario Vázquez Raña. The IOC also announced a partnership with Deloitte for the Olympic Fan Data Platform. The Olympic Museum is hosting fashion and sport exhibits. World Athletics awarded the 2026 and 2028 World Athletics Relays to Gaborone and Nassau, respectively, and the 2026 World Athletics Race Walking Team Championships to Brasília. World Rowing co-hosted a Virtual Sports Forum on esports. World Sailing launched a Coaches Scholarship Programme. FIB announced Athletes’ Committee election results. Czech Olympic Committee celebrated uniforms for Paris 2024. Dominican Republic NOC established a Safe Sport Office. Oman Olympic Committee elected its Athletes' Committee. Spanish NOC presented a refugee integration project. Uruguayan NOC signed a lease agreement for sports facilities. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee held a joint Olympic and Paralympic Chefs de Mission Seminar. ANOC will broadcast the Games of the Small States of Europe on ANOC.tv. ANOCA is holding a Continental Athletes’ Forum. WADA approved the creation of a Working Group on Contaminations and is expanding its intelligence-gathering capability.
