Moon Seung-woo, Chairman of the Jeonbuk Provincial Council, has been awarded a commendation by the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (232) for his contributions to the development of Jeonbuk's sports. The award recognizes his lifelong dedication to sports, starting with Taekwondo in middle school and continuing through his roles as a coach, president of the Gunsan Taekwondo Association, and vice president of the Gunsan Sports Council. He recently received the honorary 9th dan certificate, the highest honor for a Taekwondo practitioner, and currently chairs the TF Committee for the establishment of the Jeonbuk Sports History Memorial Hall. Moon has also actively advocated for the preservation of Taekwondo heritage and the promotion of Muju Taekwondo as a global hub.
