Busan is preparing to host the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) General Assembly from December 1-5, 2025, at BEXCO. The city held an inter-agency meeting to coordinate preparations with the Korea Anti-Doping Agency, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, Korean Paralympic Committee, Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Busan Sports Council, Busan Tourism Organization, and BEXCO. The general assembly will determine anti-doping regulations and standards applicable to all sports from 2027 to 2032, with an expected attendance of 2,000 people from 191 countries.
