Russian President Vladimir Putin has lauded the return of national symbols – flag and anthem – for Russian Paralympians competing at international events, marking the 30th anniversary of the Russian Paralympic Committee. He emphasized the significance of this reinstatement and celebrated the athletes' achievements, attributing their success to the committee's work and consistent support. The Russian Paralympic Committee also expressed gratitude for the support from the government and various organizations.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has allocated €770,000 in grants to 21 International Federations and International Organisations of Sport for the Disabled, focusing on technical official training across 26 para sports. This initiative aims to enhance technical and organizational capacity, ensuring consistent standards and sustainable development within the Paralympic Movement, aligning with a broader strategy to build robust structures beyond Games and support balanced global growth.
