The IOC supports the Guyana Olympic Association's (GOA) strategic plan, designed to enhance athlete preparation and institutional modernization through to the Brisbane 2032 Games. The plan, supported by the IOC's Olympic Solidarity program, aims to improve leadership, decision-making, and administrative capabilities. The initiative, which began in late 2024, aligns with the global effort to strengthen smaller NOCs, and was presented at the CANOC General Assembly.

IOC President Kirsty Coventry engaged with key stakeholders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, to discuss support for Ukraine and its athletes, and created four working groups focused on the Youth Olympic Games, Olympic programme, protecting the female category, and commercial partnerships and marketing as part of the "Fit For The Future" process. She also welcomed delegations from the NOC of Botswana and the Ugandan NOC, discussing preparations for Dakar 2026 and mental health initiatives, respectively. Meetings were held with the International Fencing Federation (FIE) and Alibaba to discuss preparations for upcoming Games and digital strategy. Allyson Felix's film was screened at the Olympic Museum, and a wreath was laid at Pierre de Coubertin's tomb. Other Olympic news included collaborative action grants for refugee support, a medal design call for Dakar 2026, and a Lacoste Olympic Heritage apparel range.

On Safe Sport Day, it's reported that despite IOC efforts, safeguarding remains underdeveloped in many sports organizations. Key initiatives include Maja Peković's work with the Montenegrin Olympic Committee to include safeguarding in federal laws and ANOC representation in the IOC's Safe Sport Core Group. The EOC's SAFE HARBOUR project aims to strengthen Europe's safeguarding response, while Trinidad and Tobago is leveraging the legacy of the 2023 Commonwealth Youth Games to build sustainable safeguarding structures across the Caribbean. These efforts address challenges like limited resources and cultural differences to embed safeguarding into sports culture.

The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) have partnered to include WBSC in the ANOC Digital Content Hub. This collaboration aims to broaden the global reach of baseball and softball, especially with their return to the Olympic program at Los Angeles 2028. The agreement facilitates content sharing between WBSC and over 200 ANOC member NOCs, enhancing unity, exposure, and engagement within the Olympic Movement. WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari and ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg both expressed optimism about the partnership's potential to strengthen ties and promote digital development, aligning with Olympic values and ensuring access to high-quality content for all NOCs.

The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the digital sphere, enabling WBSC to join ANOC’s Digital Content Hub. This initiative aims to boost the visibility of baseball, softball, and Baseball5, while strengthening National Olympic Committees (NOCs) connections with local audiences through shared content.
