The Caribbean Association of National Olympic Committees (CANOC), the University of the West Indies (UWI), and the Peruvian Olympic Committee (COP) have officially launched a joint Advanced Governance and Leadership Training Course. The program, designed to strengthen governance and leadership within sports organizations across the Caribbean and the Americas, addresses a priority identified by CANOC members. CANOC drives the program's alignment with strategic objectives, UWI develops the curriculum and provides certification, and COP participates as an institutional partner. The course involves eight three-hour sessions over four months and requires full attendance for graduation.

The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) held a strategic session in Luanda, Angola, reviewing progress in sport development, governance, and infrastructure. Key highlights include exceeding objectives by over 100%, partnerships with FIFA, World Aquatics, FIBA, and the International Canoe Federation (ICF) to expand access to sports, and the success of continental events like the African Beach Games and African School Games. The African Athlete Support Programme has also contributed to significant athlete achievements, including Botswana's first Olympic gold medal and Algeria's first gold in artistic gymnastics. ANOCA emphasized the importance of Olympafrica centres and the modernization of national Olympic committee headquarters.

The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) will hold its XXVIII General Assembly in Hong Kong in 2026, bringing together over 200 National Olympic Committees and representatives from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), International Federations, and Games Organising Committees. The event will focus on strategic debate, institutional cooperation, and global sports development, and will include elections for ANOC leadership for the 2027-2030 term. Following the success of the Cascais General Assembly, which generated a £2.47 million economic impact, Hong Kong is expected to provide a significant platform for the Olympic Movement. Preparations are progressing well with strong cooperation between ANOC, the Local Organising Committee, and Hong Kong authorities.

The Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (421) held its third Gender Forum in Bujumbura, Burundi, on November 11-12, 2025, with 54 member countries participating. The forum, themed "Gender equality in African sport: unlocking potential, supporting generations", aimed to promote fair, equitable, and inclusive sport. The event highlighted the importance of women's leadership in sports, with discussions on increasing female representation in leadership positions and decision-making bodies. IOC President Kirsty Coventry delivered a virtual address, emphasizing the role of the Olympic Games in showcasing women as role models and acknowledging the progress in gender parity at Paris 2024 and the upcoming Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games. The forum also recognized women leaders in African sport with Gender Equality Awards.

Johanna Talihärm was elected Chair of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) Athletes’ Commission. Ronald Rauhe and Zorana Arunovic were elected as Vice Chair and Secretary, respectively. The term runs from 2025 to 2029.
