Angola will host the 4th African Youth Games from December 10-20, 2025, across six cities, marking the first time a Portuguese-speaking country has hosted the event. The games will feature 33 sports and serve as a qualifier for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympics. The event coincides with Angola's 50th independence anniversary and is supported by a formal agreement between Angola and ANOCA.
