The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee to strengthen sports exchange and cooperation. The agreement, facilitated by meetings between NOC representatives, aims to expand collaboration in areas such as international sports information sharing, athlete and coach exchange, sports science, and anti-doping efforts. KSOC President Seung Min RYU emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation with Middle Eastern countries and promoting mutual development. Ryu also attended the 46th Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) General Assembly in Uzbekistan, meeting with IOC and OCA officials, including the newly elected Sheikh Johhan bin Hamad Al Thani, to discuss sustainable development and cooperation in Asian sports.

The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KOC) participated in the 46th Asian Olympic Council (OCA) General Assembly in Uzbekistan, as announced on January 28th. KOC President Seung Min RYU met with officials from the International Olympic Committee (IOC), OCA, and other key figures. During the assembly, Ryu met with Sheikh Joahn bin Hamad Al Thani, the new OCA President, and agreed to closely cooperate for the sustainable development and strengthening of cooperation in Asian sports. The KOC also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee to collaborate on various areas including international sports information sharing, exchange of national athletes and coaches, and anti-doping cooperation. President Ryu stated that the MOU will strengthen cooperation with Middle Eastern countries.

The Women and Sport Commission of the National Olympic Committee of Iran convened its ninth meeting in Tehran, focusing on the participation of Iranian women in the 3rd Asian Youth Games and the 6th Islamic Solidarity Games. Discussions also included Soraya Aghaei's role within the International Olympic Committee Athletes’ Commission and upcoming educational programs. The commission highlighted the significant contribution of Iranian women, accounting for 41% of medals at the Riyadh Games.

The United Arab Emirates' Athletes' Commission, chaired by Faris Mohammed Al Mutawa, convened a meeting to review a year of significant achievements for UAE athletes. Highlights include a top-three historical performance at the Asian Youth Games (31 medals), strong showings at the Islamic Solidarity Games (27 medals) and GCC Beach Games (23 medals). The commission also approved representatives for the National Olympic Committee's General Assembly and reviewed the Sports Code of Conduct and Values and Ethics Regulations. Members participated in the IOC Athletes' Commission's International Athletes' Forum and the Olympic Council of Asia's Athletes' Forum, discussing athlete support and preparations for Milano Cortina 2026, Los Angeles 2028, the French Alps 2030, and Brisbane 2032.

Led by Olympic Council of Malaysia President Dr. Norza Zakaria, ten of eleven Southeast Asian National Olympic Committees convened to express their unified support for the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) leadership and programs. The meeting, facilitated by Dr. Zakaria and attended by OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam, highlighted the region's active participation in OCA events and initiatives throughout 2025. IOC Member Ser Miang Ng was also present.
