The United Arab Emirates' Athletes' Commission, chaired by Faris Mohammed Al Mutawa, convened a meeting to review a year of significant achievements for UAE athletes. Highlights include a top-three historical performance at the Asian Youth Games (31 medals), strong showings at the Islamic Solidarity Games (27 medals) and GCC Beach Games (23 medals). The commission also approved representatives for the National Olympic Committee's General Assembly and reviewed the Sports Code of Conduct and Values and Ethics Regulations. Members participated in the IOC Athletes' Commission's International Athletes' Forum and the Olympic Council of Asia's Athletes' Forum, discussing athlete support and preparations for Milano Cortina 2026, Los Angeles 2028, the French Alps 2030, and Brisbane 2032.

Led by Olympic Council of Malaysia President Dr. Norza Zakaria, ten of eleven Southeast Asian National Olympic Committees convened to express their unified support for the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) leadership and programs. The meeting, facilitated by Dr. Zakaria and attended by OCA Director General Husain Al Musallam, highlighted the region's active participation in OCA events and initiatives throughout 2025. IOC Member Ser Miang Ng was also present.

Dr. Norza Zakaria, President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, has officially become the president of the Southeast Asian Games Federation (SEAGF) for the term 2025-2027. He will lead the organization of the 34th SEA Games, which Malaysia will host in 2027. The handover ceremony occurred during the closing of the 33rd SEA Games in Bangkok. Dr. Zakaria reaffirmed Malaysia's commitment to upholding the Olympic Movement and delivering a successful SEA Games in 2027, with support from various governmental bodies and the Malaysian SEA Games Organising Committee (MASOC).

The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NOCSL) faces potential legal action as its current term ends on December 28, 2025, without scheduled elections. Affiliated associations threaten complaints to the minister of sports and the International Olympic Committee (458) if an Election Committee isn't appointed soon. The situation stems from unresolved governance issues, including a funding suspension by the (458) and the Olympic Council of Asia (424) in December 2024, due to misconduct allegations. Former NOCSL secretary Maxwell de Silva received a five-year suspension. The current administration, which includes an ineligible president, has requested a term extension from the (458) due to legal issues.

The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee held a week-long 'Promotion of Gender Equity and Safe Sport Campaign' in November. The campaign, organized by the Gender Equity Committee, targeted athletes, coaches, and entourages across six sports, attracting 1,648 participants. The campaign focused on education and prevention to foster respect, safety, and equality. Online engagement was also strong.
