World Taekwondo President Chungwon Choue and Secretary General Jeongkang Seo attended the IOC's LA28 Transition Seminar in Lausanne, discussing operational planning for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. Choue met with IOC President Thomas Bach to express gratitude for the IOC's support of taekwondo, invited Bach to the World Taekwondo Championships in Wuxi where Bach will be awarded the Taekwondo Humanitarian Trophy, and requested the inclusion of the mixed team event at LA28. Bach praised WT's organization at Paris 2024.
