The Paris 2024 Olympics Organizing Committee (COJOP) announced a revised budget surplus of €76 million, tripling previous forecasts. Final revenues totalled €4.49 billion against €4.41 billion in expenses. 60% of the surplus will go to the Paris 2024 endowment fund, 20% to the French National Olympic and Sports Committee (CNOSF), and 20% to the IOC. An additional €5m is allocated to reinstall the Olympic cauldron in the Tuileries Gardens. Amidst this, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra is expected to succeed David Lappartient as CNOSF president, with Cyril Linette confirmed as the new director general.

France has launched SOLIDEO, inspired by the Paris 2024 model, to oversee infrastructure and regional development for the French Alps 2030 Winter Olympics. Damien Robert was appointed as director general, and the inaugural board meeting was held on April 14, 2025, in Marseille. Key projects include redeveloping Fort des Trois Têtes, building a new ice rink and Olympic Village in Nice, and refurbishing the La Plagne bobsleigh track. The Games’ Organizing Committee headquarters will be in Décines-Charpieu, near Lyon.
