The election will be held at the ITTF Annual General Meeting in Doha, Qatar on May 27. RYU presented his vision, emphasizing equal rights, amplifying athletes' voices, and strengthening table tennis within the Olympic movement. He also highlighted his experience as an IOC member and his commitment to hard work, as recognized by Thomas BACH. The ITTF also awarded Thomas BACH the 'Unity' Trophy and the first ITTF honorary badge for contributing to the development of table tennis.
